Seniority Status. 13.6.2.1 When an appointment to teach a course is made available under 13.2.6 and in accordance with 13.6.3.1, a Member who has seniority status in the course or substantially similar course, and who has maintained a satisfactory teaching performance, shall be offered the appointment. Seniority Status. Upon an employee's completion of a probationary period referenced in Article 10.2, he/she shall acquire classification seniority with a date to coincide with the date of last hire or reclassification to this unit. As between any two (2) or more employees who have the same seniority date, seniority shall be determined by the drawing of lots.
Seniority Status. If the employee is continued in employment beyond the one hundred eighty (180) working day probationary period, the employee shall acquire the status of regular staff and seniority shall be established from the first probationary day worked. Seniority Status. Periods of Service in the bargaining unit shall be counted in determining an Employee’s seniority, except that no supervisor promoted out of the bargaining unit will retain seniority acquired while in the bargaining unit if he or she returns to the bargaining unit. Seniority shall apply only to those provisions of this Agreement regarding layoff, recall, and bidding provided that the Employee is qualified.
Seniority Status. (a) The University and the Association agree that completion of four (4) or more years of full-time continuous service constitutes seniority for a non-tenure track faculty member.
