Common use of Seniority Standing Clause in Contracts

Seniority Standing. 11.1.1. Each employee shall have seniority standing equal to such employee's continuous length of service with this Employer in a position within the employment classification. For purposes of accumulation of benefits, such as vacation or other prorated benefits the employee’s original date of hire shall control.
