Seniority Principle. (a) The Parties recognize that job opportunity and job security should increase in proportion to length of service. It is agreed that the term "security" as used herein, shall have reference to an employee's right to be considered for a job based upon his/her length of service with the Employer and his/her ability to fulfil the job requirements.
