SENIORITY-LAYOFF-RESTRUCTURE-LOW CENSUS. 9.1 Definition of Seniority For benefit and layoff purposes: Seniority shall mean an employee’s continuous length of service at Klickitat Valley Health from the original date of hire. For hiring/transfer purposes: Seniority shall mean an employee’s continuous length of service at Klickitat Valley Health from date of hire within a particular job class. Seniority shall not apply to an employee until completion of the required probationary period. Upon satisfactory completion of this probationary period, the employee shall be credited with seniority from most recent date of hire. Seniority for layoff purposes shall be calculated as of the end of the first full pay period ending immediately prior to the date upon which notice of Layoff is sent to the Union.

  • CASUAL SENIORITY EMPLOYEE LIST On or before September 1, 2016, School Boards shall establish a seniority list for casual/temporary employees, where a list does not currently exist. This will be a separate list from permanent employees and shall have as its sole purpose to track length of service with the Board. Further, the list shall have no other force or effect on local collective agreements other than those that may already exist for casual/temporary employees in the 2008-12 local collective agreement.
