Seniority Definition. Seniority shall be defined as the length of the employee's service within the bargaining unit, prorated for regular part time employees, during their current period of employment with the Employer, reduced for unpaid leaves of absence (excluding FMLA and approved time off) and layoffs of 30 days or longer. Employees who are employed on the same date in the bargaining unit shall be placed on the seniority list by date and time of application. For purposes of vacation and longevity, the length of service shall be determined by the employee's last date of hire with the Employer.

Seniority Definition.
