Senior Personnel. Salary is not requested for Xxxxx in each project year. She will coordinate with Xxxxxxxx and others for field sampling, oversee the microbial characterization and genetics research, and analyze aqueous geochemistry samples for organic matter. She will supervise, train, and mentor a students who may assist in the research effort for their thesis work. She will also supervise the lab/data manager in the tasks of sample processing, analysis, and data management. Senior Personnel. Xx. Xxx Xxx, PI is a Lead Researcher in Outlier Research & Evaluation at CEMSE. Xx. Xxx will devote 0.1 FTE effort (1.2 months) in year one and 0.4 FTE effort (4.8 months) in year two for a total of 0.5 FTE (6.0 months) over the 24 project months. As Principal Investigator of this subcontract, he will oversee all aspects of the data collection and analysis, including the development and administration of instruments, report creation, and communication with project leadership. He will also work with Dr. Century to ensure appropriate connections with Outlier’s other computer science education work. The PI is a University of Chicago employee, but not a member of the University of Chicago faculty. As such, he has no teaching duties or other duties associated with faculty membership. CEMSE receives institutional and management support from the University, but all salaries are funded through independent sources, contracts and grants. Dr. Xxxxxx Century, is the Director of Outlier. Dr. Century will devote 0.05 FTE effort (0.6 months) in both years of the project for a total of 0.1 FTE (1.2 months) over the 24 project months. Dr. Century will participate in ongoing communication with the project leadership and work with Xx. Xxx to ensure connections to Outlier’s other computer science work.
Senior Personnel. Xx. Xxxx Xxxxxxxx will be supported on this grant as the Principal Investigator overseeing the work performed and supervising personnel. The PI will take 100% of two summer months effort, or the equivalent of 2 person months. Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx will supervise the clean room work to fabricate the microfluidic parts to fit the gold Nano-sensor to be able to add the protein ACE2 and antibody protein on top if the sensor to attach to the sensor surface. She will also supervise the extra sensors fabrication as needed. She will work on generating several data measurements in the laboratory to be able to identify the virus. She will work with her students to develop algorithms to transfer the data. She will work with her students to do all required tasks.

  • Contractor Personnel Contractor's staff is expected to present a professional appearance. All personnel of the Contractor will be neat, well groomed, properly uniformed in industry standard uniforms and are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a responsible and courteous manner while performing any work under this Agreement and/or whenever they are on District property. The following code of conduct will be adhered to by the Contractor, his agent(s) and/or his employees. If Contractor fails to ensure that its employees or other agents comply with these requirements, then Contractor may be terminated for cause under this Agreement:

  • Project Personnel It is understood and agreed that the Project Director identified at Item 3, Page One of this Agreement shall be responsible for the overall supervision and conduct of the Work on behalf of the Contractor and that the persons described in the Statement of Work shall serve in the capacities described therein. Any change of Project Director by the Contractor shall be subject to the prior written approval of NYSERDA. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, and, in the event that notice of approval or disapproval is not received by the Contractor within thirty (30) days after receipt of request for approval by NYSERDA, the requested change in Project Director shall be considered approved. In the event that NYSERDA requires additional time for considering approval, NYSERDA shall notify the Contractor within thirty (30) days of receipt of the request for approval that additional time is required and shall specify the additional amount of time necessary up to thirty (30) days.

  • Conflict of Interest Contractor Personnel 2.5.1 The A-E shall exercise reasonable care and diligence to prevent any actions or conditions that could result in a conflict with the best interests of the COUNTY. This obligation shall apply to the A-E; the A-E’s employees, agents, and relatives; sub-tier contractors; and third parties associated with accomplishing work and PROJECTS/SERVICES hereunder.

  • B4 Key Personnel B4.1 The Contractor acknowledges that the Key Personnel are essential to the proper provision of the Services to the Authority.

  • Supplier Personnel The Customer and Supplier agree and acknowledge that in the event of the Supplier ceasing to provide the Services or part of them for any reason, Call Off Schedule 10 (Staff Transfer) shall apply. The Supplier shall not and shall procure that any relevant Sub-Contractor shall not take any step (expressly or implicitly and directly or indirectly by itself or through any other person) without the prior written consent of the Customer to dissuade or discourage any employees engaged in the provision of the Services from transferring their employment to the Customer and/or the Replacement Supplier and/or Replacement Sub-Contractor. During the Termination Assistance Period, the Supplier shall and shall procure that any relevant Sub-Contractor shall: give the Customer and/or the Replacement Supplier and/or Replacement Sub-Contractor reasonable access to the Supplier's personnel and/or their consultation representatives to present the case for transferring their employment to the Customer and/or the Replacement Supplier and/or to discuss or consult on any measures envisaged by the Customer, Replacement Supplier and/or Replacement Sub-Contractor in respect of persons expected to be Transferring Supplier Employees; co-operate with the Customer and the Replacement Supplier to ensure an effective consultation process and smooth transfer in respect of Transferring Supplier Employees in line with good employee relations and the effective continuity of the Services. The Supplier shall immediately notify the Customer or, at the direction of the Customer, the Replacement Supplier of any period of notice given by the Supplier or received from any person referred to in the Staffing Information, regardless of when such notice takes effect. The Supplier shall not for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of transfer re-employ or re-engage or entice any employees, suppliers or Sub-Contractors whose employment or engagement is transferred to the Customer and/or the Replacement Supplier except that this paragraph 10.5 shall not apply where an offer is made pursuant to an express right to make such offer under Call Off Schedule 10.1 (Staff Transfer) in respect of a Transferring Supplier Employee not identified in the Supplier's Final Supplier Personnel List.

  • Personnel Provide, without remuneration from or other cost to the Trust, the services of individuals competent to perform the administrative functions which are not performed by employees or other agents engaged by the Trust or by the Adviser acting in some other capacity pursuant to a separate agreement or arrangement with the Trust.

  • Qualified Personnel Contractor shall utilize only competent personnel under the supervision of, and in the employment of, Contractor (or Contractor’s authorized subcontractors) to perform the Services. Contractor will comply with City’s reasonable requests regarding assignment and/or removal of personnel, but all personnel, including those assigned at City’s request, must be supervised by Contractor. Contractor shall commit adequate resources to allow timely completion within the project schedule specified in this Agreement.

  • Family Sick Leave An employee may use sick leave credits for family illness or injury only if the employee must provide direct care to an immediate family member. For purposes of family sick leave, “immediate family member” will mean the employee’s parent, spouse, or child, including step-child and xxxxxx child.

  • DIRECT PERSONNEL EXPENSE 4.1. Direct Personnel Expense of employees engaged on the Project by the ARCHITECT/ENGINEER includes ARCHITECT/ENGINEERS, other engineers, designers, job captains, draftsmen, specification writers and typists, in consultation, research and design in producing Drawings, Specifications and other documents pertaining to the Project, and in services during construction at the site.
