Semi-Binding Forecasts Sample Clauses
A Semi-Binding Forecasts clause establishes that forecasts provided by one party regarding future orders or requirements are not fully binding but carry some level of commitment. Typically, this means that while the forecasts do not obligate the buyer to purchase the exact quantities projected, they may require the buyer to purchase a minimum percentage or allow the supplier to rely on the forecasts for planning production and inventory. This clause helps balance flexibility for the buyer with a degree of predictability for the supplier, reducing the risk of overproduction or under-supply.
