District shall monitor and control the costs incurred by, and time spent by, consultants so that unnecessary costs and time delays can be avoided.

Selection of Consultants. IPM and Client will agree from time to time to certain Consultant(s) to provide Services to Client, and each such engagement will become effective upon the Effective Date of the applicable Schedule to this Agreement. IPM and Client agree each such Consultant has been selected to perform the Services after mutual consultation and is a suitable individual with sufficient education and prior experience to provide the designated Services to Client. IPM may replace a Consultant if such Consultant becomes unavailable to IPM for any reason, provided that any replacement must first be interviewed by the Manager and is acceptable to the Manager. In each such event, IPM will endeavor to provide a reasonably sufficient replacement Consultant within 15 business days, and this Agreement and the applicable Schedule shall then apply with respect to that replacement Consultant. IPM may use secondary vendors to fulfill any or all of its obligations hereunder without securing Client’s consent.
Selection of Consultants. Roster of Consultants: The selection of the resources that will complete the work on each CAS is the responsibility of the CAS participant in conjunction with the CBDC. The NS Association of CBDCs will collect and compile information on all consultants hired through the CAS initiative, resulting in a roster of consultants. Additional consultants will be added as the CAS Initiative evolves. The NS Association of CBDCs will promote the need for consulting expertise through its distribution channels, i.e. website, membership, partner organizations. The NS Association of CBDCs will indicate that services generally require individuals and/or firms possessing the following skills: Eligibility for membership in a recognized professional accounting, auditing or business consulting organization (e.g. CGA, CMA, CA, CMC, CHRP or CPA); A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in accounting, finance, marketing, information systems or other related discipline; Experience in owning/operating a business and/or providing business counseling/coaching and/or consulting services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs); Other relevant work experience. The NS Association of CBDCs shall update the roster of consultants with any negative feedback if received from a CAS participant for the work completed by a consultant. Significant negative feedback may result in the NS Association of CBDCs removing the consultant from the roster. The CBDCs will provide an opportunity to address the issue between a consultant/CAS participant (i.e. conference call, face-to-face meeting, etc.) prior to recommending that the NS Association of CBDCs remove the consultant from the roster.
Selection of Consultants. The Project Managers will work together to identify consultants best qualified to perform the scope of work described in the Grant Request and the Draft Consultant Scopes, attached hereto as Exhibit B. Metro shall have the opportunity to review and approve any Requests for Proposals (RFPs) prior to the City issuing RFPs for consultants for the Project. The Project Managers and any additional reviewers selected by the Parties will jointly review proposals from consultants and select a mutually agreeable consultant team to perform the work required to successfully complete the Project.
