Selection and Admission of Students. The exchange of students under this agreement will be conducted in accordance with the following principles: • Students are selected and admitted to the exchange programme based on their academic results and motivation. The selection is carried out in collaboration between the two establishments. • Admission of students is always at the discretion of the receiving establishment. • The announcement of exchange students is exclusively channeled through the International Offices on both sides. The deadline for the announcement of any exchange student for both institutions is mid-May for the current year. The number of students involved in the Double Degree programme will be negotiated on a yearly basis. Academic responsibility is held by the Deans of Studies at the GEC and the TUB IV.
Selection and Admission of Students. 2.3.1 The minimum and maximum number of students who will be able to register for the programme will be set by the institutions X months before the start date of the programme. Capacities are allocated taking into account available resources. The long-term aim is to achieve reciprocity in exchange. The maximum number of students admitted by each university under the home/mobility student scheme will be published annually on the website. The number of students admitted annually may be changed by mutual agreement of the Programme Board.
2.3.2 Applications, including the application form, must be submitted no later than the date specified by the Selection Committee, but at least 4 months before the start of the first semester. Candidates will apply for the joint/multiple degree programme via the MU/University A/B electronic application form in accordance with the information provided in the call for applications. Students must designate only one consortium university as their home university. Applicants will provide the required documents by the jointly announced deadline.
2.3.3 Students must submit the following documents as part of their application file: CV cover letter letter of recommendation list of completed courses and assessments certificate of recognition of previous education (if applicable) English language test
2.3.4 If any of the required documents are missing, the application will not be accepted.
2.3.5 Applicants may choose where the admission interview will be conducted (at MU/University A/B). A written report of the interview will be added to the application file.
2.3.6 The Selection Committee will make a decision on the basis of the application file within X month(s) of the closing date for applications. The Selection Committee shall decide whether the candidate will be nominated for the programme. In case the nominated candidate(s) withdraws from admission to the programme, the next person shall move to the vacant position.
2.3.7 The minimum requirement for admission is a Czech or foreign graduation school leaving examination/bachelor's degree/master's degree in the relevant field of study or any other related XXX discipline or its international equivalent.
2.3.8 For applicants a minimum score is required in one of the following tests of English-language proficiency; International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) – Academic test: A minimum score of 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each component (including writing) is required...

4.2 Applicants will be required to make a formal application to the Host Institution for admission into the relevant Activity.
4.3 Applicants must satisfy the academic admission requirements and the language entry requirements of the Host Institution for acceptance into an Activity.
4.4 The Host Institution reserves the right to determine the final admission eligibility of each Applicant nominated by the Home Institution.

The selection process shall consist of an evaluation of the Student's previous academic record, drive, motivation, and overall potential to succeed in an international academic environment.
5.2 Students will normally have completed at least one year of academic study at their Home Institution and will, in all cases (or unless otherwise agreed), be expected to meet the minimum academic and linguistic requirements set out in the Schedule.
5.3 The Host Institution reserves the right to determine the final admission eligibility of each Student nominated by the Home Institution.
5.4 Students will attend the Host Institution on a full-time basis.

2. Selection of students to take part in the programme will be the responsibility of the originating institution. In order to take part, students must meet the following requirements:
a) Be studying at undergraduate level and have completed at least 25% of the credits for the degree programme for which they are enrolled at their University of origin.
b) Be enrolled at the originating institution and at the host institution, the latter free of enrolment fee, for the whole exchange period.

d) Meet all language requirements stipulated by the host institution.
3. The host University reserves the right of admission.
4. Applications by students at the UCO to the University ________ must be received by the _______ of that year for students intending to start at the University _______ in the first semester (_______), and by the _______ for those intending to start in the second semester (_______).
5. Applications by students at the University _______ should be received by 30 May of that year for students intending to start at the UCO in the first semester (September-February) and by 30 November of the previous year for those intending to start in the second semester (February-July).

5.4 The student status and level of study will be as set out in the Schedule(s) for the relevant Exchange Programme(s).
5.5 In addition to the linguistic criteria set out in the Schedule(s) as required for the Exchange Programme(s), the UK national immigration legislation may require specific linguistic requirements for visa purposes, and these may vary depending on the length of study in the UK.

Students from l’X must submit their application to DF-UniPi by the end of November of their third year in the “Ingénieur polytechnicien” programme. DF-UniPi will inform the students from l’X about their admission at latest by January 15th of the following year. If necessary, an interview using electronic devices (e.g. skype) can be asked to candidates from l’X. Knowledge of the Italian language is not required to apply for admission as the application process and the examination can be conducted in English. However, as most of the courses at the Physics Department in Pisa are taught in Italian, the student must acquire in due course sufficient proficiency in the Italian language to follow the courses as a regular student. Thus, before the starting date of the courses at DF-UniPi, the student will be required to have a sufficient knowledge of Italian either by means of a B1 certificate or by an oral test at DF-UniPi using electronic devices by the DF-UniPi commission. DF-UniPi candidates for l’X shall proceed through the entrance examination for international students (“concours voie 2” or “concours filière universitaire : candidats internationaux”). DF-UniPi students during their second year or at the beginning of their third year are entitled to apply in the Spring or in the Fall session, respectively. The DF-UniPi students must first be selected for this particular exchange programme by DF-UniPi on the basis of the rules approved by the DF-UniPi “Corso di Laurea” (CdL). L’X will provide DF-UniPi with information relevant for the preparation and exact deadlines for the entrance examination. Acceptance letters will be mailed to the students at the latest one month before the beginning of the term.
