The SECTORAL CONTACT POINTS clause designates specific individuals or offices within each party's organization to serve as primary contacts for particular sectors or subject areas covered by the agreement. In practice, this means that for issues related to areas such as trade, environment, or technology, each party will have a named representative responsible for communication and coordination. This arrangement streamlines information exchange, ensures that inquiries are directed to knowledgeable personnel, and helps prevent miscommunication, thereby facilitating efficient implementation and management of the agreement.

1. The Parties hereby establish a Joint Committee consisting of representatives of each Party. The Joint Committee shall be responsible for the effective functioning of the Agreement.
2. The Joint Committee may establish Joint Sectoral Committees c omprise d of appropriate Regulatory Authorities and others deemed necessary.
3. Each Party shall have one vote in the Joint Committee. The Joint Committee shall make its decisions by unanimous consent. The Joint Committee shall determine its own rules and pro cedures.
4. The Joint Committee may consider any matter relating to the effective functioning of this Agreement. In particular it shall be responsible for:
(a) listing, suspension, withdrawal and verification of conformity assessment bodies in acc ordance with this Agreement;
(b) amending transitional arrang ements in Sectoral Annexes;
