Common use of Section 8.9.1 Clause in Contracts

Section 8.9.1. An employee returning from a Board approved leave of absence shall be assigned to the 39 position occupied before the leave of absence. In the event the position does not exist in the 40 District, the employee will be assigned to a position substantially comparable to the position 41 held before the leave of absence. 42 43 Current employees shall be allowed to move to a leave of absence assignment (subject to 44 seniority provisions in Section 9.5.), provided that only one (l) such employee may do so for 45 each leave of absence.
