Section 8.13.3. The long term substitute replacement for an employee on a leave of absence 29 (without pay and/or benefits) or State Industrial Compensation leave shall be entitled to the 30 rights and responsibilities of this Agreement commencing the day the employee on either 31 leave exhausts his/her other paid leave or after thirty (30) working days in the position of the 32 employee who is replaced, whichever date is later.
Section 8.13.3. 22 New shifts(s) or changes in shift times of one half (1/2) hour or more will be offered by 23 seniority. Exemptions will be lead mechanic and mechanic helper positions whose shifts will be 24 assigned by management.
