Common use of Section 3.6 Clause in Contracts

Section 3.6. file shall be maintained for each employee and shall be kept at the District Office. An 38 employee shall have the right, upon reasonable notice, to inspect the contents of his or her personnel 39 file. Inspection shall be in the presence of a District representative at all times. File materials shall be 40 reproduced for the employee as promptly as is feasible at employee expense. An Association 41 representative may, at the employee's request, be present during the review. The employee may 42 authorize the Association, in writing, to review the personnel file on their behalf. This section does not 43 exclude a supervisor from maintaining their own working files, as they desire. At the request of an 44 employee, a working file can be reviewed annually by the employee with their supervisor. At the 45 written request of an employee, items of concern may be removed after three (3) years at the 46 supervisor’s discretion.
