Section 3 of the. Amended and Restated Assignment and Security Agreement is hereby amended to read in its entirety as follows:

  • Section 5.1 32 It is agreed and understood that matters appropriate for consultation and negotiation between the 33 District and the Association are the effects of hours, wages, grievance procedures, and general working 34 conditions of employees in the bargaining unit subject to this Agreement.

  • Section 4.2 1.II Dispute Resolution Procedures is amended to insert the following paragraph to Section 4.2.1.II.A.(4): The Formal Dispute Process set forth in this section II(B) does not apply to formal disputes arising out of an Authorized User Mini-Bid or Authorized User Agreement. Formal disputes between the Contractor and the Authorized User arising out of an Authorized User Mini-Bid or Authorized User Agreement are to be handled in accordance with the process specified by the Authorized User for disputes. See Section 6.12 Mini-Bid Dispute Resolution Process.

  • Section 3.2 16 Each employee shall have the right to bring matters of personal concern to the attention of appropriate 17 Association representatives and/or appropriate officials of the District.

  • Section 21 25 It is agreed that the customary and usual rights, powers, functions, and authority of management are 26 vested in management officials of the District. Included in these rights in accordance with and subject to 27 applicable laws, regulations, and provisions of this Agreement, is the right to direct the work force, the 28 right to hire, promote, retain, transfer, and assign employees in positions; the right to suspend, discharge, 29 demote, or take other disciplinary action against employees; and the right to release employees from 30 duties because of lack of work or for other legitimate reasons. The District shall retain the right to 31 maintain efficiency of the District operation by determining the methods, means, and the personnel by 32 which such operation is conducted.

  • Section 3.1 16 It is agreed that the employees in the unit defined herein will have and will be protected in the exercise 17 of the right, freely and without fear of penalty or reprisal, to join and assist the Association. The 18 freedom of such employees to assist the Association will be recognized as extending to participation in 19 the management of the Association, including presentation of the views of the Association to the Board 20 of Directors of the District or any other governmental body, group or individual. The District will take 22 restraint, coercion, or discrimination is allowed within the District to encourage or discourage 23 membership in any employee organization.

  • Section 4.5 7 The President of the Association and designated representatives may be provided time off without loss 8 of pay to a maximum of ten (10) days per year to attend local, regional or State meetings when the 9 purpose of those meetings is in the best interest of the District as determined by the District 10 administration.

  • Section 4.3 20 The Association reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained herein to 21 appropriate officials of the Public School Employees of Washington/SEIU Local 1948 State 22 Organization.

  • Section 3.4 47 Each employee reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained in this Agreement, 48 exclusive of compensation for services rendered, to appropriate officials of the Association.

  • Section 5.2 26 It is further agreed and understood that the District will consult with the Association, and meet with the 27 Association upon its request, in the formulation of any changes being considered in existing benefits, 28 policies, practices and procedures.

  • Section 4.4 20 The Association reserves and retains the right to delegate any right or duty contained herein to 21 appropriate officials of the Public School Employees of Washington State Organization.
