Section 16.2. Grievance Steps Clause Samples

Section 16.2. Grievance Steps outlines the formal process that employees or their representatives must follow to raise and resolve workplace complaints or disputes. Typically, this clause details a series of escalating steps, such as initial discussion with a supervisor, followed by written submission to higher management, and potentially culminating in arbitration or mediation if earlier steps do not resolve the issue. Its core function is to provide a clear, structured pathway for addressing grievances, ensuring that both employees and management understand the procedures and timelines involved, thereby promoting fair and orderly resolution of workplace conflicts.
