Common use of School Safety Clause in Contracts

School Safety. The District and CUEA shall establish a joint Safety Committee with equal representation of CUEA unit members and management. There shall be no less than (3) three CUEA-appointed unit members on the Committee. The committee shall have the authority to define the scope of its work and meetings within the purpose of improving school safety and climate. Decisions shall be by mutual agreement between CUEA, the District, and other committee members. Other stakeholders shall be added to the Safety Committee by mutual agreement. All participation is voluntary in nature. ARTICLE XII‌
