School District Policy. In accordance with School Board of Manatee County Policy and Procedures, no contract for providing supplies, equipment or services shall be effected with any individual or business entity in which any member of the School Board of Manatee County or the Superintendent has any financial interest. No contract for goods or services may be made with any business entity in which the Superintendent, Board Member or their spouse or child has an employment relationship or a material interest. No School Board employee may directly or indirectly purchase or recommend for purchase of goods or services from any business organization in which his/her spouse or child has a material interest as defined in F.S. 112.

School District Policy. A copy of the School District Policy as it is formulated shall be provided the President of the Association.
School District Policy. Except as provided in this Article, evaluation and evaluation procedures shall be a matter of School District policy and shall not be a part of this Agreement. Furthermore, except as otherwise provided in this Article, nothing shall limit the School District from supplementing evaluation procedures, nor shall anything herein preclude the School District from evaluating the teacher’s total performance as a teacher in the School District.

Bus behavior that may cause harm to other students or that results in an unnecessary distraction for the driver will be considered sufficient cause for restrictive consequences, up to and including expulsion from bus privileges. Additional consequences at school may also be given. Please review appropriate bus behavior with your student. If you send or bring flowers or balloons to school, please remember that glass containers and balloons are not allowed on the bus. It is the parent’s responsibility to pick up these items.
