School District Events. Bargaining unit members shall have the right of first refusal to provide security for all School Board sponsored K-12 functions/events/activities where a law enforcement presence is necessary. The right of first refusal applies to K-12 and only after an employee’s work hours. Procedures governing this provision shall be developed by the Chief of Police.

School District Events. Bargaining unit members shall have the right of first refusal to provide security for all School Board functions/events/activities, to include Adult Education and Vocational Instructional sites where a law enforcement presence is necessary and/or any event at an MDCPS school site, or at an MDCPS facility (whether owned, leased, or under the control of the Miami Dade County School Board), or at any school leased by an outside entity for the purposes of hosting events and only after an employee’s work hours. Procedures governing this provision shall be developed by the Chief of Police.

  • District Compliance The District shall conform to and comply with all health, safety, and sanitation requirements imposed by state or federal law or regulations adopted under state or federal law.
