Common use of School Closings Clause in Contracts

School Closings. Nothing in this Agreement shall require the Board to keep schools open in the event of severe weather conditions or when otherwise prevented by Acts of God. It is understood that the Board has the right and obligation to temporarily close school in the event of various emergencies or as a result of events not foreseen when the calendar was established.
