Scheduled to Work. For clarity, it is understood that all employees will be considered scheduled to work on a paid holiday in order to be given the day off, as a holiday. In order to be considered scheduled to work, the employee must be notified of his work schedule in accordance with the scheduling requirements of this agreement.

  • Time Devoted to Work In performing the services contemplated under this Agreement, the services and the hours Consultant is to work on any given day will be on a mutually agreed upon basis, except for attendance at scheduled meetings, and City will rely upon Consultant to put in such number of hours as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the spirit and purpose of this Agreement. City understands that Consultant is engaged in the same or similar activities for others and that City may not be Consultant’s sole client or customer. However, Consultant represents and warrants that it is under no obligation or restriction, nor will it assume any such obligation or restriction, that would in any way interfere or be inconsistent with the services to be performed under this Agreement.

  • ACCESS TO WORK District representatives shall at all times have access to the Work, wherever it is, in preparation or in progress. Contractor shall provide safe and proper facilities for such access.

  • Eligibility to Work The Contractor must ascertain and validate that all proposed staff resources, including all employees, subcontractors and agents, (hereinafter “Contractor Staff Member”), are either U.S. citizens or non-U.S. citizens.

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.

  • Modified Work/Return to Work (a) The parties recognize the duty of reasonable accommodation for individuals under the Human Rights Code of Ontario and agree that this Collective Agreement will be interpreted in such a way as to permit the Employer and the Union to discharge that duty.

  • Scheduled Termination Unless previously terminated, the Commitments shall terminate on the Commitment Termination Date.

  • Modified Work/Return to Work Programs The Hospital and the Association recognize the purpose of modified work/return to work programs, is to provide fair and consistent practices for accommodating nurses who have been ill, injured or permanently disabled, to enable their early and safe return to work. The parties undertake to provide safe and meaningful employment for both permanently or temporarily disabled nurses based on the following principles:

  • Regular Work Week The Sheriff shall determine the work schedule for employees in his/her department. Unless agreed upon by the Association and the City as set forth below under the heading “Alternate Work Schedule”, a regular workweek is a tour of duty of five (5) consecutive days within a seven (7) day period. A regular workweek is a tour of duty of five (5) consecutive days within a seven (7) day period. However, employees who are moving from one shift or one work schedule to another may be required to work in excess of five (5) working days in conjunction with changes in their work shifts or schedules.

  • Regular Work Day CCS shall work an 8 -hour workday, inclusive of a forty- five minute duty free lunch period. All travel time is part of an 8-hour workday, except travel to and from their first and last work location each day. The practice of one attendance swipes per day shall be maintained. The work day shall normally begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m.; however, the start and end times may vary per the manager or according to the school start and end times as well as any meetings prior to or after the regular work day. It is understood that CCS may be required to work outside their regular workday or workweek schedule.

  • Return to Work (a) The parties recognize the duty of reasonable accommodation for individuals under the Human Rights Code of Ontario and agree that this Collective Agreement will be interpreted in such a way as to permit the Employer and the Union to discharge that duty. To that end, the Home and the Union agree to cooperate in complying with the Ontario Human Rights Code.
