Common use of Scheduled Overtime Clause in Contracts

Scheduled Overtime. 1. Notification while at work. An employee may be notified of overtime work requirements at any time while they are at work. If the overtime immediately follows their regular working day or shift, no report time or travel time is applicable. If there is less than 15 hours elapsed time between the regular working day or shift and the overtime requirement, a report time of one hour at the applicable rate, which will not be construed as working time, will be paid. Where the overtime does not extend into a regular working day or shift, the one-half hour’s travel time will be paid.
