Common use of Scheduled Overtime Work Clause in Contracts

Scheduled Overtime Work. Scheduled overtime work normally will be offered to full- 22 time regular, then part-time regular employees prior to all other employees except in those instances 23 where regular employees are not readily available, or when it is an extension of the workday for an 24 employee or work crew, or as provided in an Appendix to this Agreement. Readily available is 25 defined as the employee not being on a leave status and is present at work or at home when called at 26 the time the overtime work is being scheduled and is in the work unit in which the overtime will be 27 worked.
