Scheduled Leave. Scheduled leave will only be authorized for one Electric Troubleshooter or Troubleshooting Supervisor at any one time, except for a hardship case. Scheduled leave is defined to begin and end at the beginning of the normal workday and be based on the dates shown on the Request for Leave form.

Scheduled Leave. (1) In order to insure the health and welfare of the employee, JEA encourages employees to take a minimum of ten (10) days leave per contract year. Employees are encouraged to retain eighty (80) hours in their leave account in case of serious personal illness.
Scheduled Leave. B. Normally, the employee will submit a scheduled leave request (to the immediate supervisor) between November 1 and December 31 of each year. Management will approve/disapprove the request in writing prior to February 1 of the next year. Scheduled Leave. Whenever possible, sick leave must be scheduled in advance. When requesting sick leave for a foreseeable absence, an employee should provide at least ten daysnotice to his or her supervisor, or as much advance notice as possible.
Scheduled Leave. A unit member required to perform temporary military duty is expected to notify his/her principal and the Personnel Office in writing of the military obligation within three days of receiving his/her orders. The unit member shall furnish the District with a copy of the written orders upon receipt.
