Common use of SCADA Clause in Contracts

SCADA. The Contractor shall design a master SCADA system that will be responsible for the control and real-time monitoring of all on-Site devices and shall procure, supply and install all necessary related telecommunications Equipment. During the design and implantation of the Solar Facility, the Contractor will work closely with a third-party contractor who is responsible for implementing the Owner’s SCADA and telecommunications upgrade project including without limitation integrating the master SCADA system into the new upgraded SCADA infrastructure completed by the third-party contractor. Prosecution of the Work The Contractor shall procure and furnish all Equipment and shall design, engineer, construct, erect, install, start-up and Commission, according to the requirements and specifications set forth in the Schedules and Appendices, and shall connect the Solar Facility with the Point of Interconnection. The Contractor shall prosecute the Work to Final Completion continuously and diligently in accordance with the Project Schedule and shall perform all inspections, expediting, quality assurance and quality control, and other like services required for the full performance of the Work. Products and Materials Unless otherwise agreed between the Parties, all material, products and Equipment for the Project will be new. The Contractor shall properly pack and ship all Equipment and materials to the Site. Spare Parts The Contractor shall evaluate and provide the required spare parts for the first two (2) years of operation of the Solar Facility and recommend a spare part list for the remainder of the Projected Life of the Solar Facility, including part numbers, potential suppliers and storage requirements. The Contractor shall determine configurable spare parts and include the configurations and settings in the handover package. The Contractor shall provide any special tools required to operate the Solar Facility or required to install spare parts. The Contractor will work with the Equipment Suppliers and manufacturers to determine the recommended spare parts. Related Costs The Contractor shall be responsible for, and shall pay for all costs of all of the Work including furnishing all labour, materials, consumables, tools, Equipment, supervision and all other matters incidental and necessary to perform the Work, excepting only the cost of reasonable utilities required in respect of completion of the Work.
