Common use of Savings Clause Clause in Contracts

Savings Clause. If any provision of this Agreement, or the application of such provision, should be rendered or declared invalid, unlawful, or not enforceable, by any court action or by reason of any existing or subsequently enacted legislation; or if the appropriate governmental body having amendatory power to change a law, rule or regulation which is in conflict with a provision of this Agreement fails to enact or adopt an enabling amendment to make the provision effective, in accordance with section 447.309(3) and Chapter 110, Part V, Florida Statutes; then such provision shall not be applicable, performed or enforced, but the remaining parts or portion of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect for the term of this Agreement.
