Saturday Shifts Sample Clauses

Saturday Shifts. The minimum rate to be paid to a shift worker for work performed between midnight on Friday and midnight on Saturday shall be time and a half. Such extra rate shall be in substitution for and not cumulative upon any other shift premiums outlined in clause 12 hereof.
Saturday Shifts. Saturday Shifts shall be paid at overtime rates applicable for work on Saturdays. Such extra rates shall be in substition for and not cumulative upon the shift premiums prescribed in clause 5.4.5.
Saturday Shifts. Full-time Employees undertaking shiftwork on Saturday between midnight on Friday and midnight on Saturday will be paid at 150% of the ordinary hourly rate.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work (a) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, the employee will be paid a loading of 50% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period.

  • Saturday and Sunday assignments shall be voluntary, either as a part of a regular load or as an overload, and shall not be used for load adjustment except by mutual consent of the first-level manager and the bargaining unit member. For every weekend day (Saturday and/or Sunday) a faculty member is assigned the faculty member will not be scheduled during an equivalent number of weekdays (Monday through Friday). This arrangement must be mutually agreed to in writing by the faculty member and the first-level manager.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Saturday Work (a) No work shall be performed on any Saturday without the prior permission of the Regional Chamber which may impose such conditions as it may deem fit.

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday (a) For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays fall on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; and when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday 13.2.1 When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.

  • Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall be a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or U.S. federal holiday.

  • Saturday Sunday and designated paid holidays shall not be counted in determining the time within which any action is to be taken or completed under the grievance procedure.
