Satellite Characteristics. This Section defines the characteristics of the Satellite required to support the mission with respect to performance, physical characteristics, reliability, availability, and environmental conditions. The SSI shall derive and otherwise define lower level requirements necessary to implement the requirements of this specification, including those that are passed to the Instrument Contractor via the Spacecraft Bus to Instrument ICD, the Environmental Design and Test Specification, and other relevant documents.
