SAO AUDIT. A. The state auditor may conduct an audit or investigation of any entity receiving funds from the state directly under the Contract or indirectly through a subcontract under the Contract. The acceptance of funds directly under the Contract or indirectly through a subcontract under the Contract acts as acceptance of the authority of the state auditor, under the direction of the legislative audit committee, to conduct an audit or investigation in connection with those funds. Under the direction of the legislative audit committee, an entity that is the subject of an audit or investigation by the state auditor must provide the state auditor with access to any information the state auditor considers relevant to the investigation or audit.
SAO AUDIT. Xxxxxxx understands that acceptance of funds directly under the Contract or indirectly through a Subcontract under the Contract acts as acceptance of the authority of the State Auditor’s Office (SAO), or any successor agency, to conduct an audit or investigation in connection with those funds. Under the direction of the legislative audit committee, an entity that is the subject of an audit or investigation by the SAO must provide the SAO with access to any information the SAO considers relevant to the investigation or audit. Xxxxxxx agrees to cooperate fully with the SAO or its successor in the conduct of the audit or investigation, including providing all records requested. Grantee will ensure that this clause concerning the authority to audit funds received indirectly by Subcontractors through Grantee and the requirement to cooperate is included in any Subcontract it awards.

The MA Dual SNP understands that acceptance of funds under this Agreement acts as acceptance of the authority of the State Auditor’s Office (SAO), or any successor agency, to conduct an investigation in connection with those funds. The MA Dual SNP further agrees to cooperate fully with the SAO or its successor in the conduct of the audit or investigation, including providing all records requested. The MA Dual SNP must ensure that this clause concerning the authority to audit funds received indirectly by subcontractors through MA Dual SNP and the requirement to cooperate is included in any subcontract it award.

Contractor will ensure that this clause concerning the authority to audit funds received indirectly by Subcontractors through Contractor and the requirement to cooperate is included in any Subcontract it awards.

Performing Agency understands that acceptance of funds directly under the Contract or indirectly through a Subcontract under the Contract acts as acceptance of the authority of the State Auditor’s Office (SAO), or any successor agency, to conduct an audit or investigation in connection with those funds. Under the direction of the legislative audit committee, an entity that is the subject of an audit or investigation by the SAO must provide the SAO with access to any information the SAO considers relevant to the investigation or audit. Performing Agency agrees to cooperate fully with the SAO or its successor in the conduct of the audit or investigation, including providing all records requested. Performing Agency will ensure that this clause concerning the authority to audit funds received indirectly by Subcontractors through Performing Agency and the requirement to cooperate is included in any Subcontract it awards.

The HMO understands that acceptance of funds under this Contract acts as acceptance of the authority of the State Auditor’s Office (“SAO”), or any successor agency, to conduct an investigation in connection with those funds. The HMO further agrees to cooperate fully with the SAO or its successor in the conduct of the audit or investigation, including providing all records requested. The HMO will ensure that this clause concerning the authority to audit funds received indirectly by Subcontractors through HMO and the requirement to cooperate is included in any Subcontract it awards, and in any third party agreements described in Section 4.10 (a-b).

The MCO understands that acceptance of funds under this Contract acts as acceptance of the authority of the State Auditor’s Office (“SAO”), or any successor agency, to conduct an investigation in connection with those funds. The MCO further agrees to cooperate fully with the SAO or its successor in the conduct of the audit or investigation, including providing all records requested. The MCO will ensure that this clause concerning the authority to audit funds and the requirement to cooperate is included in any Subcontract, and in any third party agreements described in Section 4.10, “MCO Agreements with Third Parties.”

Local Government understands that acceptance of funds directly under the Contract or indirectly through a Subcontract under the Contract acts as acceptance of the authority of the State Auditor’s Office (SAO), or any successor agency, to conduct an audit or investigation in connection with those funds. Under the direction of the legislative audit committee, an entity that is the subject of an audit or investigation by the SAO must provide the SAO with access to any information the SAO considers relevant to the investigation or audit. Local Government agrees to cooperate fully with the SAO or its successor in the conduct of the audit or investigation, including providing all records requested. Local Government will ensure that this clause concerning the authority to audit funds received indirectly by Subcontractors through Local Government and the requirement to cooperate is included in any Subcontract it awards.
SAO AUDIT. The MA Health Plan understands that acceptance of funds under this Agreement acts as acceptance in connection with those funds. The MA Health Plan further agrees to cooperate fully with the SAO or its successor in the conduct of the audit or investigation, including providing all records requested. The MA Health Plan must ensure that this clause concerning the authority to audit funds received indirectly by subcontractors through MA Health Plan and the requirement to cooperate is included in any subcontract it awards.
SAO AUDIT. The Contractor agrees to reasonably cooperate with any Government agency responsible for audits, investigations, or corrective actions.
