Section 2 Union will be advised When new positions are created or current positions reclassified the Employer will advise the Union in advance in writing of the nature of the position(s) and the proposed rate of pay. In the event the parties cannot agree on the rate of pay, the position will nonetheless be filled and paid at the salary level proposed by the Employer. The Union and the Employer shall agree on the rate of pay within thirty (30) days of notification. All settlements are retroactive to date of hiring.
