Common use of Safety Inspection Clause in Contracts

Safety Inspection. When the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs or Health and Human Services, or a State, County, City or Township Fire Marshal inspects a state facility pursuant to MIOSHA, a Union official (if on duty at such work site) shall be notified by the Employer and, consistent with the operational needs of the Employer, be released from work without pay to accompany the inspector. The Union shall have a right, consistent with the above, to accompany other inspections conducted for the protection of the work force and as a result of a Labor-Management agenda item. The Employer agrees to provide the Union with a copy of any inspection report left with or returned to the Employer.
