Safety Appliances. To keep the Premises equipped with all safety appliances required by any public authority because of any use made by Tenant other than normal office use, and to procure all licenses and permits so required because of such use and, if requested by Landlord, to do any work so required because of such use, it being understood that the foregoing provisions shall not be construed to broaden in any way Tenant’s Permitted Use.

Safety Appliances. Tenant shall keep the Premises equipped with all safety appliances and permits which, as a result of Tenant's particular activities, are required by law or ordinance or any order or regulation of any public authority, shall keep the Premises equipped at all times with adequate fire extinguishers and other such equipment reasonably required by Landlord, and, subject to Section 5.10, shall make all repairs, alterations, replacements, or additions so required as a result of Tenant's particular activities.
Safety Appliances. Subject to Landlord's obligations under this Lease, to keep the Premises equipped with all safety appliances (including, without limitation, the sprinkler and fire suppression systems serving the Premises) required by any public authority because of any use made by Tenant other than normal office use, and to procure all licenses and permits so required because of such use and, if requested by Landlord, to do any work so required because of such use, it being understood that the foregoing provisions shall not be construed to broaden in any way the Permitted Uses.

Landlord agrees to provide any other safety appliances so required by law (i.e., except to the extent the same are required by reason of clauses (i), (ii), (iii), or (iv) above), the cost of which shall be included in Landlord’s Operating Expenses to the extent provided in Section 2.6 above.
Safety Appliances. The Employer shall not require any of its employees to operate vehicles not equipped with safety appliances required by law or any vehicle not in a safe operating condition. It shall be the Employer’s responsibility to see that all safety equipment is checked and the Article 44 driver shall also be responsible for checking safety equipment be- fore leaving on trips. No driver shall be compelled to drive equip- ment that does not have a speedometer in working condition at the start of the trip from the home terminal. Employers shall provide power steering on all tractors purchased after the ratification date of the contract unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer not to use power steering. Employers shall provide air brakes for all tractors and trailers purchased after August 13, 1970. All tractors shall have windshield washers.

To the best of Landlord's knowledge (having made no inquiry), neither the Premises, the Building or the Land are in material violation of any applicable laws, regulations, orders, by-laws or ordinances, and, to the best of Landlord's knowledge (having made no inquiry), the Building contains adequate safety appliances (however, each Tenant is required to properly equip its leased premises with safety appliances and Landlord makes no representation with respect thereto).
