Safe and Healthy Work Environment. 12.1 The employer is committed to improving the work health and safety of all employees.
Safe and Healthy Work Environment. The State recognizes the importance of providing a safe and healthy work environment for HCWs/PSWs while recognizing the rights and responsibilities of the Consumer/Employer to manage the work environment.
Safe and Healthy Work Environment. The parties mutually recognize the benefits to be derived from maintaining a safe and healthy work environment and that the Employer and the employees shall co-operate in striving to maintain health and safety conditions. The Employer and the Union agree to establish and maintain a Safety Committee comprised of two (2) Union members chosen by the local union and two (2) Employer representatives appointed by the Employer. The Committee shall meet on a monthly basis.

Administrative authority will not be exercised in any way that constitutes personal or workplace harassment. Communication of assessments, either a positive or negative, arising from the exercise of overall work performance evaluation does not of itself constitute personal or workplace harassment. In all dealings with the Hospital on matters of personal or workplace harassment, members, whether complainants, respondents or witnesses, have the right to be represented or accompanied by a shop xxxxxxx. The parties to this Agreement consider harassment as described in the Hospital’s Violence and Harassment Prevention in the Workplace policy (the “Policy”) and under Bill 168 to be a serious offence which violates fundamental human rights, personal dignity and integrity.
