ROSTER ARRANGEMENTS. a) Roster arrangements (ie, an employee's regular hours and/or days of work) are to be regular over the four week cycle unless varied in line with "Clause 10 - Notification of change of ordinary hours". b) Employees engaged as from 1 November 1993 onwards, will be placed on any one of the following agreed roster arrangements at the site as required by the appropriate Manager. c) Unless by mutual agreement the minimum length of any roster arrangement will be 28 weeks (seven roster cycles). At the end of this cycle the roster arrangement will be reviewed and the Manager and employee(s) can suggest alterations/alternatives if necessary. The final decision of the appropriate Manager will prevail as to the roster's continuance or otherwise. d) The specific roster arrangements, which will apply for the duration of this Agreement, are as follows (derivatives of these roster arrangements apply): i) An 8 hour day, with two rostered days off per 4 week cycle. ii) A 9 hour day with four rostered days off per 4 week cycle. iii) A 12 hour day for 3 days, over the 4 week cycle. (Note: For day work employees the second meal break will be a paid 30 minute meal break). This roster option may only be worked by mutual agreement between the appropriate D.C Manager and the employee(s). iv) A combined 8 hour and 9 hour day roster with three rostered days off per 4 week cycle. v) Notwithstanding Clause 8 A, by mutual agreement employees may work a 10 week roster cycle which will allow for the accumulation of 5 rostered days off to be taken in one block, to be know as the rostered week off system. e) Mid-Roster Review Period
