Role of the Chairperson. Action Group Leader The Chairperson & each Action Group Leader will ensure that the business of meetings is conducted efficiently so that they run on time, decisions are made as required and the importance of relevant information is considered. The Chairperson/Action Group Leader will take an impartial business view of proceedings and facilitate appropriate discussion by members on agenda items. The Chairperson/Action Group Leader will ensure that strategic and operational planning is robust, timely and delivered, and that monitoring activity informs ongoing evaluation. The Chairperson/Action Group Leader will be confirmed annually.

Role of the Chairperson. 27.1 The chairperson is responsible for the conduct of the General Meeting, and for this purpose must give Fellows a reasonable opportunity to make comments and ask questions (including to the auditor (if any)).
