Role Classification Clause Samples

Role Classification. SOH will classify each role covered by this Agreement as either a ‘waged’ or ‘salaried’ role. This classification can occur at any level of the organisation and will be based on the specific work requirements of each role.
Role Classification. By the end of the fifth (5th) working day of each season, role classification for each ballet to be presented in said season will be posted on the callboard. Role classification will identify the casting rank – principal/soloist vs. corps de ballet – of any given role in a ballet. Once the role classification has been established, the AGMA delegates will be notified in advance when additional changes are made. World premieres and ballets without specified roles will be listed as ensemble works. Following the establishment of the Role Classification, upon request from the AGMA Delegates, the Artistic Director will meet with the Delegates to discuss questions and concerns relating to the classification of a role[s]. The Artistic Director retains sole discretion over the establishment of role classification.
