RISKS COVERED. Except for the specific elimination of any risk under the Specific Conditions, this cover shall only apply if the Loss of Profits derives from a claim specifically covered and subject to compensation under the present contract, occurring at the place or places mentioned in said Specific Conditions.
RISKS COVERED a) Illness, accident, death, urgent organ transplant (as donor or receiver) of: the policyholder his/her spouse, provided that this person officially resides at the same address as the policy-holder, and of any other member of his/her family who habitually lives under the same roof, as well as relatives and other family members up to and including the second degree The insurer covers the consequences of a chronic or pre-existing disease suffered by the insured if his/her attending doctor declares that he/she was fit to travel at the time of reservation of the ticket and that on the date of departure it emerges that he/she is no longer fit to travel because of a condition requiring medical treatment.
b) The insured cannot, for medical reasons, be given the necessary vaccinations for the planned trip.
c) Complications or problems during the pregnancy of the insured or of a relative up to the second degree, including premature birth at least one month before the planned date of birth.
d) Dismissal by the employer, due to economic reasons, of the insured and/or of his/her spouse residing at the same address, provided that the dismissal takes place after the start of coverage and after the trip is booked.
e) Cancellation by the employer of the previously approved holidays of the insured and/or of his/her spouse because of the need to replace a colleague (who was supposed to replace the insured during his/her trip) due to illness, accident or death of this colleague and provided that the insured can submit a certificate from the employer as well as a medical certificate or, if needed, a death certificate regarding the person due to replace him/her at work.
f) Compulsory presence of the insured and/or of his/her spouse, residing at the same address, because of a new employment contract signed after the trip was booked, lasting for a period of at least three consecutive months, provided that this period coincides even partially with the duration of the trip.
g) Summoning of the insured and/or of his/her spouse residing at the same address: for humanitarian aid or a military mission; as a witness or a member of the jury in a court of law; because of legal procedures by the authorities in the case of the adoption of a child, provided that the insured was not aware of this when the trip was reserved.
h) An examination which the insured has to re-sit in the period between the departure date and thirty days after the return date and which cannot be postponed....
RISKS COVERED. The Insurer will pay for any loss or damage, up to the value declared by you, to the Self-Storage Operator, subject to the conditions and exclusions detailed below. In the event of total loss, destruction or damage beyond repair of any article the basis of settlement shall be the cost of replacing or reinstating the article, providing the article is substantially the same as but not better than the original when new. “New for Old” cover shall not apply to Household Linen and Clothing and Insurers will take into consideration the age, quality, degree of use and consequent market value of any item. The basis of claims settlement shall be limited to the physical cost of replacing the documents excluding the value of the information contained thereon and/or cost of reprinting, reissue and/or reconstitution UNLESS the specific archival and document extension is effective. Where the archival and document extension is effective the basis of settlement shall be to indemnify the insured for reasonable costs of reprinting and/or reasonable costs of reissue and/or reconstitution including, where applicable, fresh research or exploration to obtain essential information.
RISKS COVERED. The risks covered by the Insurer leading to the reimbursement of the cancellation costs are indicated below, provided that the occurrence thereof is between the date of the subscription of the insurance and the date for the commencement of the journey, directly affect the Insured Party and that the existence of the said risks was unknown at the time of the subscription of the insurance: - Any cause which may be proved by means of the justifying document issued by a third party, be this a Registered Professional, Public Authority or Private Company, is unforeseeable, inevitable and beyond the control of the Insured Party, which does not feature within the list of policy exclusions and which necessarily impedes travel on the dates contracted. The amount of the air fare shall be reimbursed, along with the levies and extras purchased in the airline ticket booking process. Under no circumstances shall charges due to credit card payment, taxes or the amount of the insurance of EUROP ASSISTANCE be reimbursed. Where the cause leading to cancellation does not directly affect the Insured Party, the following circumstances shall also be covered: - Serious illness, accident causing serious bodily harm or death of spouse, parents, sons and daughters, siblings, grandparents, nieces and nephews, siblings-in-law, children-in-law, parents-in-law or civil partner. With regard to the insurance cover, the following are understood to mean: The consequences of illness or accident appearing subsequent to the subscription of the insurance or those due to pre-existing conditions are also included, provided that the said consequences had not previously become apparent and serious at the time of the subscription. Serious psychiatric illness is likewise included under the terms covered herein. In the event that the illness or accident affects one of the aforementioned persons, other than the insured party, serious shall be understood to imply the need for hospitalisation or the risk of imminent death. The insurer also guarantees the reimbursement of the cancellation costs of up to one companion registered in the same booking and also in insured.
RISKS COVERED. Where the customer has requested ▇▇▇▇ to insure the customer’s goods, depending on the risks and period of cover and basis of settlement selected by the customer and shown in the certificate of insurance, this policy insures the customer’s goods as set out below: Full Cover insures loss or damage to the insured goods during transit from any external cause including accidental damage during packing, loading and unloading by Kent or its representatives. In addition to the risks set out above, this policy insures the customer’s goods for loss or damage caused by or as a result of: • war (sea and air transit risks) and strikes, riots and civil commotions in the terms of Institute of London Underwriters’ Clauses current at the time of shipment; and • General Average and Salvage Charges adjusted or determined according to the removal contract and/or the governing law and practice, which are incurred to avoid or in connection with the avoidance of loss from any cause other than those excluded elsewhere in the policy. If loss or damage occurs as a result of an insured risk, the insurer will pay, up to the declared value of any item (and subject to the restrictions set out below): Kent Ultimate Cover – In the event of damage, the reasonable cost of repairs or restoration. For any items totally lost or destroyed, full replacement cost limited to the declared value nominated by you on your insurance declaration. The insurer will only pay market value for the following items: computers and computer accessories; clothing; motor vehicles, motor bikes, caravans, boats and trailers. Kent Premium Cover – In the event of damage, the reasonable cost of repairs or restoration. For any items totally lost or destroyed, full replacement cost limited to the declared value nominated by you on your insurance declaration. The insurer will only pay market value for the following items: computers and computer accessories; clothing; motor vehicles, motor bikes, caravans, boats and trailers. In the event of damage, the reasonable cost of repairs or restoration. For any items totally lost or destroyed, their replacement cost less a reasonable allowance for age, condition, wear and tear and depreciation.
RISKS COVERED. A. The business reinsured under this Agreement shall be the same as the business that is reinsured by London Life under the Coinsurance Agreement and by the COMPANY under the Retrocession Agreement.
B. This Agreement is one of stop loss reinsurance solely between the COMPANY and the REINSURER. The REINSURER’S acceptance of liability hereunder shall not create any rights or legal duties whatsoever between the REINSURER and the insured or the beneficiary under any policy issued by Educators.
RISKS COVERED. The risks covered by the Insurer giving rise to the reimbursement of the cancellation costs are indicated below, provided that the occurrence thereof is between the date of the subscription of the insurance and the date for the commencement of travel or the service contracted, directly affect the Insured Party and that the existence of the said risks was unknown at the time of the subscription of the insurance:
RISKS COVERED. Subject to the provisions of this Special Conditions and General Conditions of the policy, Covered Risk is considered to be the "ACCIDENT" which requires repair or replacement of the insured assets so as to enable it to continue working or operating normally.
RISKS COVERED. This Agreement covers loss, damage, third party liability or expenses incurred by the insured vessel caused by :
a) war or civil war, hostilities, reprisals, torpedoes, mines and all other weapons of war, and generally all accidents and misfortunes of war, as well as acts of sabotage or terrorism of a political nature or related to war ;
b) capture, taking at sea, arrest, seizure, restraint, molestation, detention, confiscation or expropriation by any government or other authority except when ordered by : - French authorities or, in case of a declared war, one of the Allies, - the authorities of the state the head office of the insured company or the vessel's owner is subject to, - the authorities of the state under whose flag the vessel sails or where she is registered.
c) riots, civil commotions, strikes, lockouts and other similar events ;
d) piracy of a political nature or related to war ;
e) any weapon of war or device intended to explode through use of atomic or nuclear fission or fusion. Are therefore covered, when resulting from one of the risks covered by this Agreement : 1°- loss or damage incurred by the vessel, even in case of scuttling, deliberate fire, destruction or damaging when ordered by French Authorities, or those of the state under whose flag the vessel sails or where she is registered ; 2°- third party liability incurred by the vessel , according to the provisions of Article 1.2 of the General Conditions; the consequences of such a peril ; 4°- loss of disposal or loss of free use of the insured vessel giving right to abandonment. Abandonment must be notified to the insurers within three months of the event giving rise to it. After expiry of nine months from the day of this notification, the Assured has the right to abandon the vessel, unless the latter has been restored to him or to his representatives or beneficiaries.
RISKS COVERED. In the event of the death of the person named as INSURED in the Policy receipt form, while the Contract is in force, BEE INSURANCE CORP shall pay the contracted Sum Insured, being free of any obligation. The Contracted Sum Insured is equal to the Contracted Nominal Amount indicated in the Policy receipt form and its payment shall be made to the Beneficiary(ies) named by the INSURED and indicated in the aforementioned Policy receipt form.
