Return to Duty Testing. Any employee returning to a safety-sensitive position following a violation of the drug and/or alcohol testing regulations will be required to be evaluated by a substance abuse professional (“SAP”), complete a SAP recommended treatment and/or education program, and complete a return to duty test with a negative test result. The employee must have a verified negative drug test result and/or alcohol test result of less than 0.02 to return to duty to perform a safety-sensitive function. If a drug and/or alcohol test is cancelled, the employee will be subject to and required to pass another drug and/or alcohol test.
