Retirement Notification. A teacher eligible for retirement through INPRS and BCSC, who submits an irrevocable letter of retirement by April 1 of the year they wish to retire and has used less than 9.5 days of sick/family illness or personal business leave in the last year of employment will receive a $2,500 stipend as a part of their last payment from the school corporation. These guidelines may be waived at the discretion of the Superintendent.
