Resubmission. Upon consent of the person hearing the grievance petition and the grievant, a petition may be resubmitted to a lower step in the grievance procedure for reconsideration. Should either party determine that it is necessary to amend its argument at Step 1 or Step 2 of the grievance procedure, the grievance petition shall be remanded back for consideration at the previous step of the procedure. In the event such action occurs, the timelines set forth under Sections 14 (B) and (C) shall apply.
