Common use of Restrictions Reasonable Clause in Contracts

Restrictions Reasonable. 9.1. While the parties consider the restrictions contained in Clauses 7 and 8 to be reasonable in all the circumstances, it is recognized that such restrictions may fail for technical reasons unforeseen and accordingly it is hereby agreed and declared that, if any such restrictions are adjudged to be void for any reason but would be valid if part of the wordings thereof were deleted or the periods or scope (if any) thereof were reduced, such restriction shall apply with such modifications as may be necessary to make it valid and effective.

It is hereby agreed and declared that, that if any such restrictions are shall be adjudged to be void as going beyond what is reasonable in all the circumstances for any reason the protection of the interests of the parties hereto, but would be valid if part parts of the wordings wording thereof were deleted or the periods or scope (if any) period thereof were reduced, such restriction the said restrictions shall apply with such modifications as may be necessary to make it valid and effective.

It is hereby agreed and declared that, that if any such restrictions are shall be adjudged to be void as going beyond what is reasonable in all the circumstances for any reason the protection of the interests of the parties hereto, but would be valid if part parts of the wordings wording thereof were deleted or the periods or scope (if any) period thereof were reduced, such restriction the said restrictions shall apply with such modifications as may be necessary to make it valid and effective.
