Rest Between Shifts. Section 7.10 of the Agreement shall apply in its entirety with the sole exception being that the length of the rest period shall be eight (8) hours rather than eleven (11) hours.
Rest Between Shifts. In scheduling work assignments, the Employer will make a good faith effort to provide each employee with at least twelve (12) hours off duty between shifts. In the event an employee is required to work with less than twelve (12) hours off duty between shifts, all time worked within this twelve (12) hour period shall be paid at one and one-half (1½) times the regular rate of pay.
Rest Between Shifts. It is intended that every employee should have eight (8) hours' rest between shifts. In the event that an employee is recalled to work before such eight (8) full hours elapse, he shall be paid the appropriate overtime rates for work performed after recall. No employee shall be permitted to resume work on his own accord until eight (8) full hours have elapsed.

In the event a nurse is required to work with less than twelve (12) hours off duty between shifts, all time worked within this twelve (12) hour period shall be at time and one-half (1½x) the regular rate of pay. This Section shall not apply to standby and callback assignments performed pursuant to Article 9.
Rest Between Shifts. Unless performing standby duty, each employee is entitled to an unbroken rest period of at least ten (10) hours between shifts. Any time worked without the required rest will be paid at the premium rate of time and one-half the regular rate of pay. Working as a result of approved shift trades or attending department meetings, in-service or education day shall not apply.
Rest Between Shifts. Unless performing standby duty, each nurse, except those who have agreed to work and are working twelve (12) hour regularly scheduled shifts, shall have an unbroken rest period of at least twelve (12) hours between shifts. Each nurse who has agreed to work and is working a regularly scheduled twelve (12) hour shift shall have an unbroken rest period of at least ten (10) hours between shifts. Any time worked without the required rest shall be paid at the premium rate of time and one-half the regular rate of pay.
Rest Between Shifts. Nurses who qualify for rest between shift premium will receive it for eight hours. Nurses who work twelve hour shifts will qualify to receive rest between shift premium if they do not receive ten and one-half (10-1/2) hours rest between regularly scheduled shifts. This includes time worked from call back or standby situations. Nurses who work eight (8) or ten (10) hour shifts will receive rest between shift premium if they do not receive twelve (12) hours rest between regularly scheduled shifts. Nurses who are called back to work, whether or not the nurse was on standby, will qualify for rest between shift premium if the work performed from standby or call back results in the nurse not receiving twelve (12) hours unbroken rest (10-1/2 hours if the nurse is a twelve (12) hour shift nurse) before the start of the nurse's next regularly scheduled shift.
Rest Between Shifts. Each employee shall have an unbroken rest period of at least twelve (12) hours between previously scheduled shifts unless mutually agreed to between the employee and the Employer.
Rest Between Shifts. There shall be at least ten (10) hours between scheduled shifts (excluding overtime) unless otherwise agreed between the employee and his/her supervisor. Where ten (10) hours of rest (excluding overtime) are not provided the employee shall receive pay at time and one-half for each hour of the scheduled shift which infringes on the ten (10) hour rest period.
Rest Between Shifts. Unless mutually agreed otherwise, in the event an employee is assigned overtime, the Employer will assure that the employee receives at least ten (10) hours’ rest from the end of such assignment until the employee again reports for work. The Employer, moreover, will not pre-schedule a full-time or part-time employee, without the employee’s consent, to work with less than ten (10) hours’ rest between the scheduled shifts. If, notwithstanding these provisions, an employee does not receive at least 10 hours’ rest between scheduled shifts, then the employee will be paid at the rate of time and one-half for the first four (4) hours of the next shift. The foregoing provision shall not apply to voluntary trades of shifts by employees.
