Residential Recycling. Residential Recycling means the collection, processing, and marketing of those Recyclable Materials that are collected from Residential Customers under this Franchise.
Residential Recycling. The Company shall, once every other week, Collect, Process, Recycle, and Transport all Recyclables from all Residential Customers. Recycling Carts shall be collected using an automated collection system. The Company will only provide Recycling services to Residential Customers that receive and pay for Solid Waste services.
Residential Recycling. For single family and other residences receiving curb services for the collection of their garbage and trash, the CONTRACTOR shall provide recycling collection service one (1) day per week on a day which coincides with one of the resident’s trash collection days. For multifamily complexes using containerized service for the collection of their garbage and trash, the CONTRACTOR shall provide recycling collection service once per week. At the option of the City, Contractor and the City may mutually agree on the purchase, delivery and implementation of a residential Recyclable Materials collection program using rollout carts. The program shall coincide with the provision by Broward County of funding for that purpose. In conjunction with the rollout cart recycling program, the City may choose to implement a “ recycling rewards” provision in which residents receive inducements to recycle. I f the City selects such provision, the Contractor will work with the City to implement same.
Residential Recycling. City grants to Grantee, for the term of and in accordance with this Franchise Agreement (including all extensions or renewals), an exclusive privilege and duty to make and enter into independent arrangements with residents of single family units, and residents and/or owners of multifamily units in the City for the collection, transportation, processing and diversion of Recyclables, (including multi-family unit Recyclables, subject to Section 6 C), generated or accumulated within the City which has been placed in an authorized recycling container, in the areas covered by this Franchise Agreement, as shown on Exhibit "A" "FRANCHISE AREA" as its boundaries are now constituted or may hereafter be amended.
Residential Recycling. The Company shall Collect, Process, Recycle, and Transport Recyclables listed in ATTACHMENT 4 from all Residential Customers, including those Multiple-Family Dwellings that use Cart Service. Company may require Customers to self-sort Recyclables and place them into blue plastic bags. These bags shall be placed in the Solid Waste Cart or placed Curbside. The Company shall not be required to collect Recyclables from a Cart if the Recyclables are commingled with Solid Waste or Green Waste. In the event the Recyclables and Solid Waste are commingled to the extent that they cannot easily be separated by the Company or the nature of the material renders the Recyclable Materials contaminated, the Company will leave the material in the Solid Waste Cart and will leave a non-collection notice explaining the reason for non- Collection of the Solid Waste and Recyclables.
Residential Recycling. Contractor must offer single-family residential Recycling Services as described in Exhibit C1: “Residential Recyclables Service Specifications,” and multi-family residential Recycling Services as described in Exhibit C2: “Multi-Family Recyclables Collection.” For residents in multi-family facilities, Basic Residential Recycling Collection Services will consist of not less than 12.5 gallons of multi-material recycling capacity per household per week or more if needed to prevent overflow.
