RESERVATION TO MANAGEMENT. 2.01 The Union recognizes the right of the Company to hire, promote, and demote, transfer, suspend or otherwise discipline and discharge any employee for just cause subject to the right of the employee concerned to lodge a grievance in the manner and to the extent herein provided.

RESERVATION TO MANAGEMENT. 2.01 The Union agrees that Management of the Victoria Store has the right to plan, direct and control store operations. The right to hire and discipline, the direction of the working force, the discharge of Associates for just cause and those matters requiring judgment as to the competency and efficiency of Associates, are the sole right and function of the Employer. Promotions shall be entirely a matter for the Employer’s decision. The parties agree that the foregoing enumeration of the rights of Management shall not be deemed to exclude other recognized functions of Management not specifically covered by this Agreement. The Employer, therefore, retains all rights not otherwise specifically covered by this Agreement. The exercise of the foregoing rights shall in no way alter any of the provisions of this Agreement.

RESERVATION TO MANAGEMENT. The location of the Plant, the operation and management of its business, the products to be manufactured, the schedules of production, the methods, processes and means of manufacturing, together with the determination of the number of employees in any department, or in any job are exclusively the responsibility of the Company. Subject to the provisions of this Agreement, the Union recognizes the right of the Company (1) to hire, promote and transfer within the bargaining unit, (2) to discipline any employee for justifiable cause, (3) to allocate work, describe, and classify jobs, and (4) to determine the number of employees in any classification.
