Any deviation from the below listed materials shall be approved by DIRECTOR prior to start of work and/or notice to proceed. • Orange County Flood Control District Design ManualUS Army Corps of Engineers Manual EM 0000-0-0000 • AASHTO Design Manuals current edition, including all addenda thereto • OC Public Works (formerly RDMD, PFRD, or EMA) Standard Plans, latest Edition • Orange County Hydrology Manual, including all Addenda thereto, • County of Orange Local Drainage ManualFlood Insurance Study Guidelines and Specifications for Study Contractors, FEMA 37 • OC Public Works/Right of Way Engineering Section and/or OC Public Works/Real Estate Services Section • Standards and practices of the OC Public Works/Utilities Unit • Orange County Highway Design Manual • CalTrans’Highway Design Manual • Highway Capacity Manual Description of Services (activities shall include, but not limited to): OC Public Works on behalf of the County of Orange (COUNTY) and the Orange County Flood Control District (DISTRICT) requires supplemental engineering services to meet workload demands and project scheduling commitments. In order to supplement COUNTY and/or DISTRICT’S existing resources, A-E shall provide to COUNTY and/or DISTRICT "on-call" Architect- Engineer (A-E) services on an "as-needed" basis. Consultants may provide preliminary and final design services for a variety of County projects such as, roads, bridges (vehicular and pedestrian), bikeways and trails, traffic engineering, drainage facilities; flood channels; levees and other civil engineering related projects. It is anticipated that there will be several work products, “Project Specific Scopes of Work”, resulting from an agreement. The requested services consist, in general, of preparation, of Type Selected Reports, Plans, Special Provisions and Engineer’s Estimate (PS&E). Certain related support services as described herein may also be requested. This General Scope of Work exemplifies the types of work that may be required.

Requirements, Standards and Guidelines. Even though the federal Community Services Block Grant Act exempts Contractor and its subcontractors from many federal administrative requirements and standards to promote State and local efficiency, the federal government directs the State to establish fiscal control and fund accounting procedures regarding CSBG funds. Federal law also directs the State to ensure that the cost and accounting standards of the Office of Management Budget (OMB) apply to recipients of CSBG funds.

  • Codes and Standards Under the various sections of the specifications, where reference is made to specific codes or standards governing the installation of specified items, installation shall in all cases be in strict accordance with the referenced codes and standards. Where no reference is made to specific codes or standards, installation shall conform to the generally recognized applicable standards for first-class installation of the specific item to be installed. Contractors are expected to be proficient and skilled in their respective trades and knowledgeable of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the current edition of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) and its referenced technical codes and standards, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and other codes and standards applicable to installations and associated work by its trade and/or that are applicable to the Work.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND STANDARDS 9.1.1 Each party must comply with all Applicable Laws in performing their obligations under this Agreement.

  • Safety Standards Performance of the Contract for all commodities or contractual services must comply with requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and other applicable State of Florida and federal requirements.

  • HIPAA Requirements The Parties agree that the provisions under HIPAA Rules that are required by law to be incorporated into this Amendment are hereby incorporated into this Agreement.

  • Policies, Guidelines, Directives and Standards Either the LHIN or the MOHLTC will give the HSP Notice of any amendments to the manuals, guidelines or policies identified in Schedule C. An amendment will be effective in accordance with the terms of the amendment. By signing a copy of this Agreement the HSP acknowledges that it has a copy of the documents identified in Schedule C.

  • Noncompliance Standards The AGENCY shall be responsible for adhering to all terms and conditions of this Contract. Noncompliance may result in penalties as stipulated in Attachment “C”.

  • OMB Standards Unless specified otherwise within this agreement, the Subrecipient shall procure all materials, property, or services in accordance with the requirements of 24 CFR 84.40−48.

  • Quality Standards Each Party agrees that the nature and quality of its products and services supplied in connection with the other Party's Marks will conform to quality standards set by the other Party. Each Party agrees to supply the other Party, upon request, with a reasonable number of samples of any Materials publicly disseminated by such Party which utilize the other Party's Marks. Each Party will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and customs and obtain any required government approvals pertaining to use of the other Party's marks.

  • Program Requirements A. The parties shall comply with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program requirements established in 49 CFR Part 26.

  • SUPPLIER STANDARDS OF CONDUCT Accenture is committed to conducting its business free from unlawful, unethical or fraudulent activity.
