Requests to Amend. Business Associate shall notify Covered Entity in writing within five (5) business days of the receipt of any requests from individuals seeking to amend PHI maintained by Business Associate for or on behalf of Covered Entity, and respond to such requests when and as directed by Covered Entity. Additionally, when and as notified by Covered Entity, Business Associate shall incorporate any amendments, corrections and/or other documents or information to PHI maintained by Business Associate and shall notify its agents, contractors and subcontractors who receive PHI of any such amendments, corrections and/or other documents or information.
Requests to Amend. Business Associate shall make any amendment(s) to PHI in a Designated Record Set that Covered Entity directs or agrees to pursuant to 45 CFR 164.526 at the request of Covered Entity or an Individual. The Business Associate shall make amendments as soon as administratively feasible.
