Requests for Negotiations. A. If either party desires to negotiate a successor Agreement, it shall notify the other party in writing no later than the March 1 prior to the expiration of the Agreement. Notification in writing from the Association shall be served on the Superintendent and from the Board shall be addressed to the President of the Association. A copy of said notification, along with a copy of the existing Agreement, shall be sent to the State Employment Relations Board. Within fifteen (15) work days after receipt of such notice, an initial meeting will be scheduled for the purpose of exchanging negotiations issues/packages and establishing a date for the next session.
Requests for Negotiations. 1.4.1 If either of the parties desires to open negotiations for a successor agreement, it shall notify the other party in writing not earlier than the first (1st) day of February and not later than the first (1st) day of March of the year in which this Agreement expires, or between the one-hundred twentieth (120th) and ninetieth (90th) day before the expiration date of this Agreement, whichever comes sooner. Written notice from the ETA shall be served on the Superintendent; written notice from the Board shall be addressed to the President of the ETA. The party giving notice shall also serve a copy of the written notice, together with a copy of the Agreement, on the State Employment Relations Board (SERB).

If either of the parties desires to negotiate changes in subjects of negotiations, it shall notify the other party in writing not earlier than 150 days nor later than 120 days prior to the expiration of the contract. Notification in writing from the Association shall be served on the Superintendent and from the Board shall be addressed to the President of the Association. A copy of said notification, along with a copy of the existing collective bargaining agreement shall be sent to the State Employment Relations Board and shall constitute the notice required by 4117.14 (B)(1)(a). Within fifteen (15) school days after receipt of such notice, an initial meeting will be held for the purpose of beginning negotiations and establishing a date for the next session. The parties may mutually agree to extend this 15-day time limit one time by up to 15 days.

Notification in writing from the Association shall be served on the Superintendent and from the Board shall be addressed to the President of the Association. A copy of said notification, along with a copy of the existing collective bargaining agreement, shall be sent to the State Employment Relations Board. Within fifteen (15) days after receipt of such notice, an initial meeting will be held for the purpose of exchanging negotiations packages and establishing a date for the next session. Once the initial packages/proposals are exchanged, neither party may propose any additional issues except by mutual agreement.
Requests for Negotiations. A written request for negotiations meetings will be submitted by the CGSEA President to the Superintendent or by the Superintendent to the President of the CGSEA. Request for negotiations shall be submitted between January 15 and March 1 of the year in which the contract terminates.
Requests for Negotiations. 2.011 Unless otherwise mutually agreed, negotiations for a successor Agreement will begin no earlier than March 1 and no later than April 1 of the year in which this Agreement expires. Upon the request of either party, an initial meeting will be scheduled for the purpose of permitting each party to submit in writing all its initial proposals for negotiations. Thereafter neither party shall submit additional items except with the consent of the other party.

Requests to open negotiations shall be in writing and shall either be sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, or hand delivered or via E-mail to the receiving party during the time period specified in Article 41, Duration, Section 41.01. BOARD requests shall be directed to the BCEA President. BCEA requests shall be directed to the Superintendent. A "Notice to Negotiate" shall be filed by the initiating party with the State Employment Relations BOARD (SERB).
