206 Requests for Information (RFI) Clause Examples for Any Agreement

Requests for Information (RFI). The Design Professional shall review and respond to RFI's with reasonable promptness but nor more than five business days from receipt of any RFI. The Design Professional shall prepare any responses to reasonable requests from the Contractor for additional information about the Contact Documents. The Design Professional shall prescribe the format for such requests and shall instruct and assist the Contractor in adhering to this format.

Requests for Information (RFI). 2.211 The Design Professional will review and respond with reasonable promptness normally five (5) business days from receipt to properly prepare any reasonable requests from the CM/GC for additional information about the Contact Documents. Effect of Addenda, Bulletins, and Change Orders. No special implication, interpretation, construction, connotation, denotation, import, or meaning shall be assigned to any provision of the Contract Documents because of changes created by the issuance of any (1) Addendum, (2) Bulletin, or (3) Change Order other than the precise meaning that the Contract Documents would have had if the provision thus created had read originally as it reads subsequent to the (1) Addendum,

CM/GC shall maintain a log of RFIs and the responses received from Design Professional.

Requests for Information (RFI). If included in the scope of services, WIDSETH will provide, with reasonable promptness, written responses to requests from any contractor for clarification, interpretation or information on the requirements of the Contract Documents. If Contractor’s RFI’s are, in XXXXXXX’x professional opinion, for information readily apparent from reasonable observation of field conditions or review of the Contract Documents, or are reasonably inferable therefrom, XXXXXXX shall be entitled to compensation for Additional Services for XXXXXXX’x time in responding to such requests. CLIENT may wish to make the Contractor responsible to the CLIENT for all such charges for additional services as described in this article.

Requests for Information (RFI). 6.1 The CM will be responsible for developing and implementing an RFI form for use on the project utilizing Primavera Contract Manager software. 6.2 The CM will be responsible for logging and reviewing all RFIs prior to submission to the OWNER and the Project Designer. The CM is to insure that the RFIs submitted are appropriate and not frivolous. 6.3 The CM shall be responsible for tracking and monitoring all RFIs throughout the Construction Phase in a timely manner until they are processed by the Project Designer and/or the OWNER. 6.4 The CM shall include RFIs as an agenda topic at all OWNER meetings and advise the OWNER immediately of any delays in their process. All responses to the RFIs that have an added cost impact shall also be discussed with the OWNER.
