Common use of Reporting Pay Clause in Contracts

Reporting Pay. 21.01 An employee reporting for work at the commencement of his regularly scheduled shift, unless notified in advance not to do so, or unless he is returning to work without notice after an absence, shall receive four (4) hours work or four (4) hours pay at his regular hourly rate. This provision shall not apply when there is a lack of work due to a situation beyond the control of the Company.
