The 'Rented Facilities' clause defines the terms and conditions under which one party is permitted to use facilities owned or controlled by another party. Rented Facilities. Banquets When kitchen facilities and/or large fixtures capable of causing damage (e.g., ovens, steam tables) are used outside the workday/work year , a manager or regular cafeteria worker shall be on duty at all times to assist the using organization and to supervise the use of equipment and facilities. The Food Service Supervisor may fulfill this function providing the Association President is notified of the reason. If cafeteria personnel are required to do additional clean-up after a facility or kitchen equipment has been used by a school group, the Administration will be called to check the facility or kitchen equipment and the user will be billed for approved additional clean-up time. All regular cafeteria workers must notify the supervisor of their intent to be included to work rentals/banquets by September 15 each year. A current file of regular cafeteria workers interested in working rentals/banquets shall be kept by the Cafeteria Manager. Opportunities to work rentals/banquets shall be offered to these people on a continuous rotation by seniority within the building.
Rented Facilities. When school facilities are used by non-school groups at night or on weekends, a custodian and/or maintenance employee shall be on duty based upon the classification typically responsible for that facility.
