The University does not provide insurance or financial protection; assume any responsibility or liability for any loss or damage or destruction to the resident’s private property, nor for articles left after vacating the premises. The resident shall utilize all security measures provided by the University. The University shall not be held responsible or liable for your possessions or accommodation if an assigned space is rendered uninhabitable due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the University, including acts of nature, e.g., flood, earthquake, and unusual weather conditions. The University also reserves the right to make special room assignments to accommodate those conditions. The University of California recommends that Residents consider purchasing renters insurance if living away from home. Renters insurance is not mandatory, and may be purchased from any source. As a service to assist Residents who wish to acquire renters insurance, UC has partnered with GradGuard to provide a renters insurance option for UC students to shop for coverage directly. Any property you keep or store at the Premises is at your own risk. YOU ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO CARRY RENTER’S INSURANCE COVERING YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY AND GENERAL LIABILITY.
Rental Insurance. Rental insurance must be on any unit at all times. If the Renters insurance company does not cover the unit, Advanced RV Rental's third party insurance company can be used. The reservation deposit of $500 is to ensure the rental is guaranteed the funds needed be used toward any insurance deductibles, damages, lost items and/or lost income from a damaged unit. The Security Deposit, whether by cash or held on credit card is provided as security against damage to the Rental, theft, late check-out and violation of any renter’s agreement contained in this Agreement. An inspection is done after each check-out for any damage done to real or personal property. The renter(s) shall be liable and solely responsible for any property damage, accident, injury to any person or loss sustained by any person or arising out of or in any way related to renter(s) use of the premises or the items of personal property provided by Advanced RV Rental hereby agrees to indemnify and hold Advance RV Rental harmless from any and all claims, including those of third parties, arising out of or in any way related to renter(s) use of premises or items provided therein. Renter(s) assumes the risk of injury or other losses relating to any recreational activities and will hold Advanced RV Rental harmless with respect thereto. Renter(s) agrees to indemnify Advanced RV Rental for any damages to the dwelling, grounds, furnishings, and household items. In the event that damage result from a renter(s) occupancy, Advanced RV Rental is authorized to utilize the credit card on file or the cash security deposit to cover said damages or additional cleaning costs, including the charging or billing of any additional amounts that exceed the deposit held. Advanced RV Rental is not responsible for articles left on premises. There will be a $10.00 charge in addition to shipping charges for handling the return of any articles found by housekeeping. Lost & Found will be held for 30 Days. After such time all items will be donated to charity.
Rental Insurance. The University does not assume liability for a Licensee’s personal belongings and has no insurance to cover personal or property damage of Licensee. Therefore, the University strongly recommends that the Licensee obtain additional coverage, such as a renter’s insurance policy. Students may purchase renter’s insurance through the Housing Application process. Please note, payment is made directly through the suggested vendor GradGuard. Rental Insurance. Proceeds of any insurance covering losses of revenue and rentals described in paragraph 4.2 above.

Rental Insurance. Tenant shall obtain and keep in force during the Term of this Lease a policy of rental value insurance covering Rent for a period of one year, with loss payable to Landlord. Tenant shall pay the cost of such insurance directly to the insurer and shall provide Landlord proof of such insurance and payment of the premiums therefor.
Rental Insurance. (a) Section 6 of the Lease shall be amended to provide that Landlord shall obtain the Rental Insurance as defined in Section 6.1.3.

A policy of rental insurance ("Rental Insurance") against loss or damage by fire and other perils covered by All Risk Insurance in an amount, during the Partial Lease Month, if any, and the first Lease Year, not less than the Basic Annual Rent payable hereunder for the Partial Lease Month, if any, and the first Lease Year, and during each Lease Year thereafter in an amount not less than the greater of the Basis Monthly Rent payable hereunder for such Lease Year or the sum of all Rent which was payable hereunder for the then immediately preceding Lease Year;
Rental Insurance. The Tenant shall provide and maintain in the name of the Landlord and each mortgagee rental insurance providing for payment of amounts equal to the full rent reserved under this lease and all other amounts payable under this lease for a period of not less than one calendar year in the event of loss of or damage to the Building by fire or any other penalty described in section 5.3. All amounts which the Landlord may receive as proceeds of such rental insurance shall be credited on account of rent or other amounts accruing due after the date of such loss or damage occurring.
